After Defending Use of Swastika, Walker Still Refusing to Say Whether He’ll Return Event Donations

October 18, 2021

It’s been five days since Herschel Walker defended the use of a swastika, earning a barrage of criticism, and the Trump-tapped candidate is still refusing to say whether he’ll return any donations he received ahead of the now-canceled event.

“Herschel Walker defended a swastika, and canceling a fundraiser does not change the fact that he failed to condemn a hateful, antisemitic symbol,” said Dan Gottlieb, spokesman for the Democratic Party of Georgia. “Walker owes the people of Georgia an answer: has he returned every cent he received from the host and any donation that he raised because of the event?”
