Democratic Party of Georgia Statement on First Presidential Debate

Following the first presidential debate in Atlanta, DPG Chair Congresswoman Nikema Williams released the following statement:

“Tonight’s debate reminded Georgians they have a choice in this race between President Biden’s record of delivering for our state and Donald Trump’s record of leaving working families behind; between President Biden’s integrity and convicted felon Donald Trump’s lies; between President Biden protecting our fundamental freedoms and Donald Trump attacking reproductive freedom at every turn. This November—just like we did in 2020—Georgia voters will come together to reelect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and reject Donald Trump once and for all.”
