Help Move Georgia Forward
Every Spring, Young Democrats of Georgia hold their annual Convention. This year, from April 15-17, Young Democrats from throughout the state– as well as from throughout the Southeast region– will convene in Glynn County at the Sea Palms Resort on St. Simon’s Island.
Young Democrats of Georgia extends an invitation to all Georgia Democrats to attend the 2011 Convention on the Coast, and especially encourages all Young Democrats– aged 14-40– to attend! All Young Democrats– whether a member of a chartered chapter or not– are eligible to register as a Young Democrat and have the opportunity to attend all events and vote for the 2011-2012 Executive Board.
At the Convention, YDs will participate in workshops, panels, and presentations with people and organizations like Christine Pelosi, YDA President Rod Snyder, New Left Media, and Georgia OFA, honor the new Democratic Party of Georgia Leadership during a Saturday luncheon, and elect a new Executive Board to lead the organization into the future.
We also hope that Young-at-Heart Democrats will join the Convention on the Coast team! By joining our growing list of Event Sponsors, you can help us put on an amazing event at a low cost to our members, so that we may foster the next generation of Democratic leaders. For more information about our sponsorship opportunities, or more information about attending as a Young-at-Heart Democrat, you can contact Louis Elrod or Steve Golden and visit the Young Democrats of Georgia website.
Young Democrats of Georgia is also embarking on a plan to charter new chapters throughout the state, and we need your help to do this! If you or a fellow Democrat would like to help expand Young Democrats of Georgia, please contact Gary Harrell, the Vice President of Membership for more information!
YDG appreciates the support we always receive from our Democratic Party of Georgia allies. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions, comments, or ideas!
Democratically Yours,
Jane Bradshaw, President ([email protected])
