WATCH: Georgians Hold Perdue Accountable For Being Too Chicken To Answer For His Toxic Record

December 9, 2020

ATLANTA — Today, Senator David Perdue’s campaign rally was interrupted by Georgians calling out David Perdue for being “chicken” after Perdue refused to debate his opponent, has repeatedly dodged local press throughout his campaign, and hasn’t held a public town hall his entire six years in Washington while allowing access to “only a select group” of supporters and his “Boardroom” of donors.

“Senator Perdue is too chicken to show his face on the debate stage or answer questions from local media and voters because he can’t defend his toxic record of self-dealing and corruption,” said Braxton Brewington, spokesman for the Democratic Party of Georgia. “Georgians deserve a senator who will show up for them every day, not a coward hiding behind his TV ads to avoid being held accountable.”
