Over the weekend, Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell admitted that if the Supreme Court overturns the decades-long precedent of Roe v. Wade — and the protections it provides women to make their own health care decisions — it would “certainly” be “possible” for Republicans to pass a national abortion ban if they take back the Senate.
Herschel Walker and the other GOP candidates would all be a rubber stamp for a nationwide abortion ban without exceptions for rape or incest or to save the life of the mother. Just last week, Walker himself promised to “protect the unborn with my life … because I believe from the womb to the tomb” — with no exceptions.

- Walker admitted in a Georgia Life Alliance survey that he supports “outlawing abortion, including in instances of rape and incest,” even if necessary to save the life of the mother. See for yourself:
- Walker was recently endorsed by Susan B. Anthony List, a major anti-choice group that has worked to undermine reproductive rights. This endorsement comes after Walker was endorsed by National Right to Life, another organization that fights for bans and restrictions on the decisions women make about their own health care.
- As the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Greg Bluestein notes, Walker already indicated that he would “support outlawing abortion, including in instances of rape and incest”:
