REMINDER: As Judge Reinstates Georgia Abortion Ban, Herschel Walker Supports Nationwide Abortion Ban

“Walker faces renewed abortion allegations as the procedure is again banned in Georgia beyond six weeks of pregnancy”

After Georgia’s Supreme Court reinstated Republicans’ six-week ban on abortion last week, it’s worth noting that Herschel Walker supports both the Georgia ban and a proposed nationwide abortion ban, and opposes exceptions in cases of rape, incest, or even to save the life of the mother, saying, there’s “no exception in [his] mind.” 

Here is a reminder of Walker’s comprehensive anti-abortion agenda:

1. Walker said abortion should be totally illegal, including in the cases of rape, incest, and the life of the mother, with “no exceptions in [his] mind.”

2. Walker said “there’s not a national ban on abortion right now and I think that’s a problem.  I’m pro-life and I’m not going to make an excuse for it.”

3. Walker opposed reproductive rights, and said he was “100% pro-life” “from the womb to the tomb.”

4. Walker said he would support Senate Republicans’ federal abortion ban.

5. Walker welcomed the Supreme Court Decision overturning Roe v. Wade, saying he “won’t apologize” for the stance.

6. Walker said “there are no excuses” when it comes to abortion.
