Kelly Loeffler has already come under fire for her secretive private jet, but now has the perfect use for it with her latest endorsement from Nikki Haley, who failed to adequately report private flights
ATLANTA — The latest endorsement for unelected “political mega-donor” Senator Kelly Loeffler shows that even if Valentine’s Day is long gone, sometimes perfect matches can still find each other. Loeffler has been in hot water ever since an AJC report revealed her secretive private jet she tried to hide from Georgia voters, but she now has the perfect use for it after her latest endorsement from former Ambassador Nikki Haley, who famously accepted private luxury plane flights from wealthy GOP donors while in office.
While Haley resigned after a report came out exposing the private jet rides from donors she failed to adequately disclose, Loeffler has shown no signs of giving up her own luxury ride from DC to Georgia.
“Their shared passion for secretive private jet rides isn’t the only thing that makes Loeffler and Haley a perfect match,” said Alex Floyd, spokesman for the Democratic Party of Georgia. “Haley’s record of appearing to personally benefit from her public position is also a nice fit for a Senator who currently sits on the Senate committee with direct oversight of the regulator for her own business interests. Whether buying a Senate appointment or letting donors buy access, Loeffler and Haley are a perfect fit for Washington insider politics.”
