Hotline Volunteers Ready To Assist Voters In Municipal Runoff Elections

ATLANTA – Today, as polls open for municipal runoff elections across Georgia, the Democratic Party of Georgia urges voters to call the DPG’s voter protection hotline for any voting-related questions. The hotline is available at 1-888-730-5816. Volunteers will be ready to assist voters starting before polls open and until after polls close.

ABOUT THE VOTER PROTECTION HOTLINE

The Democratic Party of Georgia was the first state party in the country to hire a full-time, permanent voter protection director. The DPG’s 24/7 voter protection hotline, 1-888-730-5816, assists voters with questions about voting and enables the Democratic Party of Georgia to identify and address voter protection-related issues. The party promotes the hotline in campaign materials, on social media, and in press releases and volunteers are eager to take voters’ calls.

The Democratic Party of Georgia’s voter protection hotline is a resource for all Georgians, regardless of county, city, or political affiliation. Hotline volunteers are trained to assist with any issues faced by voters, and care deeply about protecting the vote of every eligible Georgian. This initiative is a core part of the Democratic Party of Georgia’s mission to protect the right of every eligible Georgian to cast their ballot and have their ballot counted.
