Shelia worked in government, corporate America, and her community on issues that taught her the value of bringing stakeholder together for common good. As a small business owner, Shelia understands the tough, but thoughtful, business decisions that must be made for the benefit of all. Shelia’s experiences will allow her to interface effectively with community leaders, governments, and other stakeholders on issues that matter to working families as the next Georgia Public Service Commissioner.
Patty Durand
Patty is a candidate for the Ga PSC, a state agency that regulates energy. For 10 years Patty was executive director of the Smart Energy Consumer Collaborative, a national nonprofit focused on consumer research. As commissioner she will work to lead the Ga PSC toward a clean energy future while adopting programs to save money and protect people from monopoly power.
Patty has an MBA from the College of William and Mary.
