Help Move Georgia Forward
Today, Georgia voters held a press conference highlighting Herschel Walker’s pattern of lies and disturbing behavior. Speakers discussed how Walker’s long, damning pattern of lies, scams, and disturbing conduct proves he is not ready to represent Georgians.
With one week of early voting to go, speakers reminded Georgians why Walker has not earned their vote to represent them in the U.S. Senate.

“As a small business owner, I’ve worked hard to create a business from scratch that benefits my employees, my customers, my family, and my community. That’s why I am so disturbed by Herschel Walker’s well-documented pattern of lies and disturbing behavior, especially surrounding his businesses. Herschel Walker claimed he ran a business with 800 employees, but he only had 8. Herschel Walker claimed to run a business that didn’t even exist. Herschel Walker falsely claimed his business gave millions to charities, when in reality, he defrauded veterans and exploited vulnerable workers,” said Kenya Brantley, a Newnan-based small business owner. “The choice is clear, Georgia: we’ve got to re-elect Reverend Warnock, who has a record of actually supporting small business owners like me — bringing down costs, addressing supply chain issues, and creating good-paying jobs that sustain Georgia families — instead of just pretending to like Herschel Walker.”
“Every day, I try to teach my children the difference between right and wrong. To be honest in whatever they do. To act with integrity, character, and decency. That’s why I am so disturbed by Herschel Walker’s well-documented pattern of lies and disturbing behavior, especially surrounding his violence against women,” said Kristen Kiefer, Warner Robins-based mom. “The whole point of serving in the Senate is to protect people — but it’s clear that Walker is a violent, dangerous man who has continued lying to Georgians about every aspect of his life instead of taking responsibility for his behavior. The women of Georgia deserve leaders who will fight for us, not fight against us.”
“It’s appalling that Walker claimed has repeatedly lied about founding a charity for veterans — when in reality, he made a fortune last year, and the decade prior, serving as a spokesperson for a private hospital chain’s for-profit program that “preyed upon veterans and service members while defrauding the government,” said Bill Harlan, a Columbus-based veteran. “As the son of an Army veteran, Reverend Warnock is leading the fight for Georgia’s veterans and military families in the Senate. He’s brought the voices and concerns of Georgia’s veterans and servicemembers to the forefront of his work in the Senate. Being a member of the U.S. Senate is all about protecting the lives and livelihoods of the people you represent. Herschel Walker has made it perfectly clear that he’s unable and unwilling to do that, and this new reporting leads me to believe he would operate the same way in the U.S. Senate.”
