Today, a new report from the U.S. Labor Department showed that America added 850,000 jobs to the economy in June for a total of more than 3 million jobs since the President took office – the most in the first five months of a presidency on record.
“This week’s jobs numbers make it clear: President Biden’s economic plan is working,” said Rebeca Galanti, spokesperson for the Democratic Party of Georgia. “The President took office with a promise to build back our economy from the bottom up and the middle out, and he is delivering on his word for Georgians and the American people. Since the Biden-Harris administration and Democrats’ American Rescue Plan lowered taxes for middle class families, created more than 3 million jobs, and increased wages for workers, the Biden economy has boomed in Georgia and across the nation.”
