6 Months In, Majority of Georgians Approve of President Biden’s Accomplishments

Today, a new Data for Progress poll showed that 62% of Georgians support President Joe Biden’s plan to deliver a generation of good-paying union jobs and revitalize America’s roads, bridges, and highways through his historic infrastructure package. The poll also showed that a majority of Georgians continue to approve of the work President Biden has accomplished throughout his first six months in office.

“With an overwhelming majority of Georgians approving President Biden’s infrastructure plan, this poll highlights Georgians’ urgent endorsement of improving our state’s infrastructure,” Rhyan Lake, spokeswoman for the Democratic Party of Georgia, said. “As the Peach State continues to rebuild from the pandemic, investments in Georgia’s infrastructure and economy are vital to a strong recovery for workers, businesses, and farmers alike. That’s why President Biden’s infrastructure plan will invest in Georgia’s workforce, build resilient transportation options, and position our state to win the 21st century. Infrastructure is a bipartisan issue for Georgians, and now, it’s time for Congress to come together and deliver this economic boost to build Georgia back better.”
