ATLANTA – Today, as Mike Pence joins Georgia Republicans for a true display of out-of-touch conservatism, Democratic Party of Georgia spokeswoman Maggie Chambers released the following statement:
“Mike Pence and Georgia Republicans are two sides of the same coin: tearing away Georgians from their healthcare. While one attempts to ban life-saving care for reproductive health, the other is trying to actively dismantle the Affordable Care Act – both threatening the very lives of Georgians by making healthcare unaccessible and unaffordable.
“While Georgia Republicans and Mike Pence continue to threaten Georgians’ health, Georgia Democrats are fighting to expand Medicaid and protect our care.”
