“The Need For Action Is Clear”

This week, the White House released state-by-state infrastructure report cards to help outline the need for President Biden’s American Jobs Plan to meet crucial needs and build the new American economy. Due to a “systemic lack of investment” for decades, Georgia’s infrastructure has suffered, with the state earning only a C+ grade for infrastructure.

The American Jobs Plan would “take aim at road and bridge repairs to cut down on Georgia commute times that have increased nearly 11% over the past decade,” “improve broadband connections in roughly 40% of Georgia where there is little or no internet access,” increase housing supply and contribute to the 12.5 billion needed to fix local drinking water systems.
