Last night, 11Alive reported that failed businessman Herschel Walker pocketed nearly a quarter of a million dollars as a board member for a company that accepted nearly $10 million in Paycheck Protection Program loans while at the same time firing 90% of their employees. This comes after Walker claimed that big companies and their executives should be “embarrassed” and “ashamed” for taking advantage of the government funding — all while he continued to profit.
