Help Move Georgia Forward
Georgia Democrats Work to Lower Health Care Costs While Republicans Plan to Raise Them
As Republican voters head into Donald Trump’s rally in Commerce, Georgia, they’re seeing a special message: the ‘Trump First, Georgia Last’ agenda is costing Georgians health care and spiking costs for families all across the state. Footage of the mobile billboard can be viewed here and downloaded for the full-quality version.
The mobile billboard ads are a continuation of the messaging from the Democratic Party of Georgia’s press conference yesterday, which served as the party’s response to Trump’s visit.
“The positions of David Perdue and Herschel Walker – along with every other Republican running in Georgia – are clear: they would attack the Affordable Care Act, gut protections for people with pre-existing conditions, oppose Medicaid expansion, and support plans that would drive up health care costs for Americans,” said Congresswoman Nikema Williams, Chair of the Democratic Party of Georgia. “While Democrats are fighting to improve Georgians’ health care, the Republican agenda puts Trump first and Georgians last, and will keep people from accessing essential health care in communities all across the state.”
