Help Move Georgia Forward
On Sunday night, WSB-TV reported on the continuing fallout of Brian Kemp signing his new “criminal carry” law, which creates a gun safety loophole that makes it easier for criminals to carry a hidden, loaded gun in public without a permit. The founder and president of the The National African American Gun Association, a pro-second amendment organization, told WSB-TV that they worry the new law is dangerous and warned how it could lead to “more people buying guns that aren’t trained.”
The pro-gun group’s reservations come after law enforcement raised concerns about the dangerous new law, mayors across the state urged Kemp to reconsider his support for it, and a poll found that 70% of Georgians oppose it.
