After Brian Kemp released a self-congratulatory video covering up for Georgia’s highest-in-the-nation COVID infection rate, Democratic Party of Georgia spokeswoman Maggie Chambers released the following statement:
“Almost 5,000 Georgians have died and Brian Kemp is taking a victory lap. Kemp has spent the last 6 months ignoring public health advice and attacking local mayors and the press while Georgia has hit the highest COVID infection rate in the country and our rural hospitals are closing. Brian Kemp is literally ignoring the reality of this crisis and instead plotting his re-election campaign.”
