Following a new report from CNN that revealed Herschel Walker is “potentially running afoul of both Texas tax rules and some Georgia rules on establishing residency for the purpose of voting or running for office,” by receiving a tax exemption meant for a “principal residence” on his Texas home, Congresswoman Nikema Williams, Chairwoman of the Democratic Party of Georgia, released the following statement on Walker’s refusal to answer Georgians’ questions about this latest scandal:
“This latest revelation is another reminder that Walker lacks both the competence and character to be our U.S. Senator. For years, Walker has gamed the system and run dishonest, fraudulent schemes to advance his own agenda and has repeatedly refused to answer questions from Georgians about his scandals. Georgians need someone with a record of results, not someone who’s established a record of lies, scams, and disturbing conduct.”
