Democratic Party of Georgia Statement on Brian Kemp’s Political Stunts

Today, as Brian Kemp makes another trip to the Texas border, 1,200 miles away from the Peach State, Scott Hogan, Executive Director of the Democratic Party of Georgia released the following statement:

“Brian Kemp’s trip to the border is nothing more than a desperate political stunt. Instead of showing an ounce of leadership on the issues affecting Georgians, like ending this pandemic and keeping our children healthy, Kemp only cares about scoring political points. Donald Trump and his administration spent four years systematically dismantling our immigration system, and President Biden has gotten to work fixing the damage left behind. While Kemp spends working Georgians’ tax dollars to play political games, Democrats at every level  are actually fighting for Georgia and working to move our country forward.”
