Two years after Brian Kemp launched a cash giveaway gimmick weeks before the 2022 election that was riddled with theft, fraud, and may have “sidestepped the law”, he still has not faced accountability for mismanaging taxpayer dollars for his personal political gain. 

The rollout of the $350 “Kemp cards” giveaway was exposed as a bungled, disastrous, and potentially illegal mess affecting “tens of thousands” of Georgians. Then, Gov. Kemp came under heavy fire over reports that his administration sidestepped the law when it rushed to approve a billion-dollar contract to distribute the cards right before the 2022 election.

The vendor to which the administration hastily awarded the contract boasted the ability to design the cards with Kemp’s name on them.
