Help Move Georgia Forward
Voting is easy. Every registered Georgia voter has three options for casting a ballot:
By Absentee Ballot (also known as Voting by Mail)
If you apply for an absentee ballot, your county will mail you a ballot to your registered address or a different address that you provide. Learn more.
THIS IS A GREAT OPTION IF:
You want to avoid in person interactions during a pandemic
You will not be at your registered address around election day
For example, a student away at college, a person who is hospitalized, a person who is detained, a member of the military stationed abroad.
Mobility issues make it difficult to go to a polling place
You want time to study your ballot and make your selections
The Democratic Party of Georgia wants everyone to vote safely during the pandemic. For that reason, we encourage everyone to vote by absentee ballot or at the polls during the advance voting period.
In Person during the Advance Voting Period (also known as Early Vote)
You can vote at any polling place in your county. The Advance Voting Period for the General Election is from December 14, 2020 – December 31, 2020. Locate early voting locations in your county.
THIS IS A GREAT OPTION IF:
You want to vote in person at the polls
You prefer to vote independently using a voting machine with accessibility features
The Democratic Party of Georgia wants everyone to vote safely during the pandemic. For that reason, we encourage everyone to vote by absentee ballot or at the polls during the advance voting period.
In Person on Election Day (also known as the last day to vote!)
You must vote at your precinct on election day to vote a regular ballot. Locate your precinct.
THIS IS A GREAT OPTION IF:
It’s election day and you have not yet voted
