New unemployment data today finds that Black unemployment has increased under the Trump administration compared with this time last year.
In addition to fewer jobs, Trump’s agenda is projected to bring price hikes to working families across Georgia as his recently enacted budget law threatens to raise premiums for Affordable Care Act plans by thousands of dollars annually, and as companies like Procter and Gamble announced it would raise prices on many of its products, while many retailers have already raised prices on items like kitchenware, baby gear, and toys.
Trump’s budget law could also put clean energy jobs in Georgia on the chopping block and cut even more jobs for Georgians.
“Donald Trump’s harmful agenda is killing jobs and hiking prices for Georgians,” said Democratic Party of Georgia Senior Communications Advisor Devon Cruz.
