As Burt Jones prepares to hold a campaign kickoff rally in Flovilla tonight, DPG Chair Charlie Bailey released the following statement:

“At Burt Jones’ official campaign kickoff tonight, Georgians are sure to hear him mention his unwavering support for Donald Trump – including for the Big Billionaire Bill that strips 750,000 Georgians of their health care. What Jones won’t mention is his failed thirteen-year career as a politician that has left Georgia with eighteen out of thirty rural hospitals at risk of closure, the second-highest uninsured rate in the country, and a tax code that rewards billionaires, big corporations, and whoever the latest lobbyist was to buy somebody a steak and a bourbon. Whatever Jones says in his stump speech, Georgians have already heard his message loud and clear: in Burt Jones’ Georgia, it’s Donald Trump and his billionaire friends first, Georgia families last.
