Georgia – The Bulloch County Democratic Party is hosting their 2nd Annual Independence Gala with a very special speaker, Ambassador Andrew Young.
“We are very excited to have Ambassador Young with us in Statesboro,” said Shontelle Childress, organizer of the event. “His wisdom can solve so many of our state’s problems.”
Mr. Young has served as the mayor of Atlanta, a member of Congress, and Ambassador to the United Nations. From his humble beginnings as a key member of the civil rights movement, he has maintained a remarkable record of service to this country.
The 2nd Annual Independence Gala will take place on Saturday, July 21st at 6 pm at the Nesmith-Lane building in Statesboro. General admission tickets are $50, with special tickets including a VIP reception with Ambassador Young priced at $75.
