“As we reach half a million American deaths from COVID-19, including more than 16,000 of our fellow Georgians, I join everyone in praying for those we’ve lost and their loved ones. This tragic milestone underscores the urgent need for Congress to pass immediate COVID-19 relief and get help to struggling families across our country. As we continue to stay strong and take appropriate safety precautions to reduce the spread of the virus, is it up to our leaders at the state and federal level to do their job in getting America back on its feet.”
