Today, DPG Chair Charlie Bailey, State Rep. Bryce Berry, and a mother from Atlanta held a press conference ahead of Donald Trump’s visit to the state. Speakers underscored the failures of Trump’s economic policies and how his broken promises have stuck Georgians with paying higher costs while all three GOP U.S. Senate candidates and all the GOP Governor candidates support his agenda every step of the way.

While Georgians suffer, GOP U.S. Senate candidates “MAGA warrior” Buddy Carter, MAGA extremist Mike Collins, and failed and fired former Tennessee football coach Derek Dooley have all stood behind Trump’s agenda that is wrecking Georgia’s economy:

“These clowns running for Senate, Buddy Carter, Mike Collins, Derek Dooley, and the GOP candidates running for Governor continue backing Trump’s failing economic agenda,” said DPG Chair Charlie Bailey. “It’s no surprise that over and over again, when running for the United States Senate and running for governor, they’re running to help Donald Trump advance his agenda. They are running to help him and his family. They’re not doing anything for you.”

“Georgia Senate candidates Buddy Carter, Mike Collins and Derek Dooley are completely, completely, 100% aligned with Trump’s agenda that is failing working people,” said State. Rep. Bryce Berry.

“I’m one of those people that are at the bottom and I am getting hit the most,” said Lola Green, Atlanta mother. “My community is being hit the most. We need a United States Senator who understands the challenges Georgia parents, especially our special needs parents, are facing, who are committed to helping us without a doubt, without a blink. Carter, Collins, and Dooley, again, I’m asking, where are you at?”
