Today, new reporting shows that Donald Trump’s FBI leadership is directing analysts to work “overtime” to chase conspiracy theories about the 2020 election in Georgia.

MSNOW reports this as an “extraordinary effort” in which “FBI Director Kash Patel is ordering personnel from all field offices to participate.” It’s designed to “to find evidence supporting President Donald Trump’s darkest election fraud conspiracy theories” related to the 2020 election in Georgia.

As a reminder, Rick Jackson supports these efforts, which began with the FBI raiding an election warehouse in Fulton County earlier this year.

He has embraced these very same conspiracy theories throughout his campaign, with POLITICO reporting that Jackson is “adamant” the election was stolen, telling a crowd in Homer “[t]hat was totally ridiculous what happened in 2020 and our people really let us down.”

“Rick Jackson fully supports Trump’s attacks on our elections,” said Democratic Party of Georgia spokesperson Jake Strickland. “He’s backed the FBI raids on Fulton County’s elections hub and endorses Trump’s darkest election conspiracy theories. There should be little doubt he would bend the knee to the president every chance he got if ever elected governor.”

It should come as no surprise that Jackson will bend the knee to Trump given how closely Jackson has aligned himself with the president throughout his campaign.

  • Jackson has repeatedly told voters that he will be “Trump’s favorite governor” and that he will be “Trump with a Southern tone.”
  • Jackson has made clear that he’ll govern “just like Trump,” and even gave Trump a $1 million donation in December 2025 to prove his loyalty to him.
