Today, a new jobs report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics announced that the U.S. economy created 467,000 jobs in January and a whopping 6.6 million jobs in 2021 thanks to President Biden’s economic agenda. Under the Biden-Harris administration, the past year has been the greatest 12 months of job creation in our nation’s history. These stunning employment numbers are in addition to President Biden delivering the largest drop in the unemployment rate on record, the largest reduction in childhood poverty ever recorded in a single year, and the strongest economic growth America has seen in nearly 40 years.
“Today’s jobs report is the result of the extraordinary progress President Biden’s economic agenda has delivered for our country,” Rhyan Lake, spokeswoman for the Democratic Party of Georgia, said. “Thanks to the American Rescue Plan, which every Georgia Republican opposed, America’s employment rate has boomed back and provided working people with increasing economic opportunities.
