Washington Post: Household Essentials Could “Get Pricier in the Coming Days”

New reporting from the Washington Post finds that families across Georgia could be facing higher costs on basic household items as a result of Donald Trump’s harmful agenda that is supported by the state’s GOP U.S. Senate candidates.

Procter & Gamble – whose products including dish soap, toilet paper, toothpaste, and detergent –  announced it would raise prices on many of its products, while many retailers have already raised prices on items like kitchenware, baby gear, and toys

GOP Senate candidates Rep. Mike Collins and Rep. Buddy Carter have supported Trump’s chaotic trade war:

“Georgia’s GOP U.S. Senate candidates are backing an agenda that is stripping more and more money from the pockets of working families and making life harder by the day,” said Democratic Party of Georgia Senior Communications Advisor Devon Cruz. “Georgians literally cannot afford for Buddy Carter and Mike Collins to be anywhere near the United States Senate.”
