Mayor Van Johnson Kicks Off GOTV Weekend in Savannah

Today, Savannah Mayor Van Johnson joined over one hundred Democratic volunteers to get out the vote in Chatham County ahead of Election Day, December 6. After Mayor Johnson fired up the crowd, volunteers headed out to local neighborhoods to speak to voters about the importance of re-electing Reverend Raphael Warnock and making a plan to vote on Tuesday, December 6.

Voters can go to iWillVote.com to find their Election Day polling place, and Georgians can also call or text the Voter Protection hotline at 888-730-5816 with any questions.

“We have some unfinished business to take care of. And we will not stop until Tuesday, when Senator Raphael Warnock – from Savannah – is elected as our United States Senator. We’re not going to leave any stone unturned or any voter unvoted,” said Savannah Mayor Van Johnson. “We understand that this election is about competence, and it’s about character. We want a senator we can be proud of. We know Senator Warnock has proven himself to be responsible.”
