The Jewish Council of the Democratic Party of Georgia will serve to support the DPG’s core mission of making sure that every Georgia citizen is able to meet their full potential. The Council will communicate Jewish issues of concern to the DPG and help members of the party to understand our community’s needs, speak intelligently and comfortably about them, and develop arguments to counter antisemitic (as defined in state and federal law) rhetoric. The Council will work to get support from the Jewish community for DPG initiatives, identify and recruit new party members, and strive to maintain a consistently high level of accountability within the DPG towards Jewishcommunity issues.
