“We saw this past November the power of our vote as Asian Americans. We were the margin of victory in flipping Georgia blue and changing the course of this country,” said State Representative Sam Park. “That’s the power of our vote and community. Reach out to your friends, colleagues, young Asian Americans who call Georgia home and encourage and inspire them to use the power they have to turnout and vote for Jon Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock. There is so much at stake, but what gives me hope is that we have the ability and the opportunity to determine the course and direction of our country during these incredibly challenging times. But it’s up to us.”
“We cannot make a difference without young people, like you, all coming together to get this thing done. It’s so important. Last election, we saw the increase of our AAPI community. We can own this election. We make the difference. Let’s make sure we have a plan to vote,” said State Senator Sheikh Rahman. “Early in-person voting starts Monday, and we want to encourage people to make a plan to vote. We don’t need to wait until January 5. Whenever someone on the other line hears somebody from AAPI, it feels like one of their own is calling. That’s really important. We can make a difference!”
