ATLANTA – This morning, after Carolyn Bourdeaux’s victory in the primary for Georgia’s 7th Congressional District, Democratic Party of Georgia Chairwoman Nikema Williams issued the following statement:

“7th District Democrats are working hard and ready to win, and no one knows that better than Carolyn Bourdeaux, our next Georgia Congresswoman. I know Carolyn, and I know her leadership and hard work will take us to victory, and I know she will finish the fight she started in 2018.

This party is stronger because of the work of every single candidate in this primary, and I am so grateful to every single one of them who joined this fight. Now, Democrats are ready to come together and win the 7th District, and take on Republicans up and down the ballot this November.”
