DPG Statement on Passing of First Lady Rosalynn Carter

Today, Democratic Party of Georgia Chair Congresswoman Nikema Williams released the following statement:

“Georgia Democrats join our entire state, nation, and the world in mourning the loss of former First Lady Rosalynn Carter – an extraordinary humanitarian, fierce mental health advocate, and beloved daughter of Georgia. Rosalynn Carter’s lifetime of service reshaped our world for good, and her remarkable legacy will remain an example and deep source of pride for Georgians. Our thoughts are with President Carter and the entire Carter family.”
