ATLANTA — In response to U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene’s comments at the Republican National Convention tonight, the Democratic Party of Georgia released the following statement:

“Marjorie Taylor Greene’s speech tonight — where she mercilessly attacked people she doesn’t like — showed the country what Georgians already know: she cannot be taken seriously,” said DPG Executive Director Tolulope Kevin Olasanoye. “At a time when Georgia Democrats called for unity in the wake of an attempted assassination of a former president, Marjorie Taylor Greene’s remarks at the RNC show she’s determined to sow discord and division in our country.”
