DPG Chairwoman Nikema Williams Statement on Senator Bernie Sanders Suspending His Campaign

ATLANTA – Today, Democratic Party of Georgia Chairwoman Nikema Williams released the following statement:

“I want to thank Senator Bernie Sanders for running a transformative presidential campaign, and for his commitment to fighting for true progress for all. His movement has inspired countless candidates, activists, and Americans to take their place in the fight for a better world, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Our party is stronger thanks to Senator Sanders and his supporters, and we are ready to work hard together and win in November.”
