DPG Chair Statement on Passing of Julian Bond

Atlanta, GA – Democratic Party of Georgia Chair DuBose Porter released the following statement on the passing of former Georgia lawmaker and NAACP Chairman Julian Bond.

“We have lost a powerful and beautiful voice for the rights of us all. Julian Bond lived his life to make the world a better place, and we are a better people because of his love and leadership.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Bond family.”
