Thanks to Bidenomics and Democrats’ agenda, Georgia has added more than 100,000 jobs over the last year and unemployment is at 3.2%

Today, the U.S. Department of Labor announced that nonfarm payroll jobs in Georgia increased by 4,400 last month – adding to the total of more than 100,000 jobs created in Georgia over the last year – and Georgia’s unemployment rate remains near a record-low 3.2%. Today’s report builds on two years of record job growth and low unemployment rates in Georgia and across the country thanks to President Biden’s economic agenda. In response, Democratic Party of Georgia spokesperson Ellie Schwartz released the following statement:

“Month after month, Bidenomics is building our economy from the bottom up and middle out – a complete turnaround from the last administration’s failed trickle-down policies that shipped jobs overseas, gave megacorporations tax handouts at the expense of middle-class families, and left hardworking Georgians behind. Despite MAGA Republicans’ best efforts to erase this progress, Georgians can rest assured that President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Democrats will keep working to create more good-paying jobs, lower costs for families, and invest in our economy.”
