Grassroots Outreach Canvasser

The Democratic Party of Georgia is hiring Team Members for our Grassroots Georgia outreach program. As we ramp up for our 2026 Midterm election cycle we are working hard to organize and educate voters throughout the state of Georgia to vote blue up and down the ballot!

 Now is a more important time than ever to encourage passionate activists to participate in the political job force and fight for what they believe in, and that means you!

We are looking for determined and passionate Democrats who want to be involved in the Democratic Party of Georgia’s efforts to elect Democratic candidates across the state. Grassroots Georgia Team Members will need to inform and inspire voters to take action, so we’re looking for people who share our goals and values and are fired up to get involved with grassroots outreach.

Location: Atlanta, GA (This is an in-person position – there are no remote options)

Hours: 6 hour shifts – weekday afternoon/evenings 

Compensation: Average of $30/hr, Daily Paid Training, & Uncapped Bonus Opportunities

*Class credit may be offered if studying a related field and permissible by school

Candidates should possess:

• A commitment to electing Democratic candidates up and down the ballot
• A friendly and outgoing demeanor, the ability to think on your feet and engage constituents’ enthusiastically with strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• A willingness to learn, and strong personal accountability

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Educating & motivating voters to take action and help get Democratic candidates elected at the Federal, State, and local levels
• Attending group and individual training sessions at the DPG’s office with the Grassroots Georgia Director and other team members.
• Maintaining professionalism and achieving office standards.
