Georgia Democrats’ signature event will also feature former Ohio Governor Ted Strickland

Georgia – Ambassador Andrew Young will be the next recipient of the John Lewis Lifetime Achievement Award at the Democratic Party of Georgia’s 2013 Jefferson-Jackson Dinner, the party’s signature event.

Other expected attendees include a contingent of Democratic Congressmen, State Senate and House leaders, Mayor Kasim Reed, and the keynote speaker, former Ohio Governor Ted Strickland.

The 2013 Jefferson-Jackson Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, March 9 at the Georgia World Congress Center. Details may be found at GeorgiaDemocrat.org.
