“MAGA warrior” Rep. Buddy Carter, MAGA extremist Rep. Mike Collins, and failed and fired former Tennessee football coach Derek Dooley have all come out in support of Donald Trump’s war in Iran even as recent polling found that the overwhelming majority of Americans oppose it.
Yet today, both Rep. Buddy Carter and Rep. Mike Collins voted against a bipartisan War Powers Resolution that would reign in Donald Trump’s ability to further drag the country into yet another war in the Middle East.
The support from Carter, Collins, and Dooley, which is completely out of step with most Americans, comes as all three of them desperately posture themselves as puppets as they audition for Donald Trump’s endorsement in the race for U.S. Senate.
“Buddy Carter, Mike Collins, and Derek Dooley have once again shown Georgians that their number one priority is bending the knee to Donald Trump and supporting his wreckless, extreme MAGA agenda,” said Democratic Party of Georgia Senior Advisor Devon Cruz. “Georgians didn’t ask for higher prices or another foreign war, but Carter, Collins, and Dooley will do whatever it takes to win the favor of Donald Trump over hardworking Georgians.”
