After defending a donor’s use of a swastika and earning a barrage of criticism, Democratic Party of Georgia spokesman Dan Gottlieb issued the following statement calling on Walker to return any donations he received ahead of the now-canceled event:

“Herschel Walker defended a swastika, and canceling a fundraiser does not change the fact that he failed to condemn a hateful, antisemitic symbol. Now Walker must return every cent he received from the host and any donation that he raised because of the event.”
