Gurira will host events and encourage supporters to early vote starting on Monday
Atlanta, GA – On Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16, actress and award-winning playwright Danai Gurira, best known for her role as Michonne on The Walking Dead, will campaign for Hillary Clinton across Georgia. Gurira will visit Hillary for Georgia canvas kickoffs in Lilburn and Decatur where she will embolden young supporters and volunteers to encourage their friends and family to early vote starting Monday. On Sunday, Gurira will host a Hillary for Georgia young professionals meeting and an Atlanta canvass kickoff with volunteers.
Throughout her visit, Gurira will urge Georgians to remember during early vote and on Election Day First Lady Michelle Obama’s call to action – especially among women – that “We have knowledge, we have a voice, we have a vote.”
