Join the fight: Affordable healthcare in Georgia now!
We need strong legislative action to provide affordable health care to millions of working Georgians. That's why we're asking you to take a moment today and sign our petition to Senators Johnny Isakson and Saxby Chambliss, calling on them to support President Obama's health care reform proposals, even if it means standing up to Republican leaders like Rush Limbaugh and Dick Cheney.
Sign the petition below and make your voice heard on health care!
To Senators Isakson and Chambliss:
We, the undersigned, represent thousands of working Georgians of all ages, ethnicities, and faiths. Together, we share a common commitment to real health care reform, like the ideals and principles set forth by President Obama.
We urge you to make health care reform a truly bipartisan issue and stand with our President, despite the growing effort from those within your party to politicize the country's health care crisis.
With millions of Georgians without insurance, and small businesses struggling to stay afloat amidst skyrocketing health care costs, this is no time for politics. We urge you to put Georgia first and create meaningful, lasting health care reform for all Americans.
The facts on health care in Georgia:

- Over 95% of adult Georgians without health insurance were either employed or actively looking for work. 78.7% were working full or part time.
